Details
Unique covered box is probably from the early 20th century. It is a cigarette box, but I encourage you to use it for other less harmful things. The two drawers pull open to dispense a cigarette.
It made using heavy copper sheeting, the top medallion and the drawer pulls are brass. The interior is partially made with another metal (unknown) and painted cream. There is wear to the inside paint. The top has a brass medallion with what I assume is a depiction of Saint Christopher. The wording reads “Regarde St. Christoph puis va t’en rassure” and translates from the French to "Look at St. Christopher and go on reassured”
It measures 6.125 inches long by 3 inches wide and 2.75 inches high.
