Beautiful little basket style compote and saucer. Typically used to serve desserts and fresh fruit.
Pickard pieces usually are European manufactured china blanks that were hand painted in the United States.
Skillfully hand painted stylized violet flowers and leaves with heavy gold. Colors are purple, green, gold and black.
Both pieces are marked on the base.
Condition: An unfortunate chip on one handle, shown in pictures. Otherwise pristine condition.
Measurements: Cup 3.75 wide, 2.5 inches high Saucer: 5.375 diameter
