VTG Blue + White Covered Cream Pot Pitcher Erphilia Czechoslovakia Bright Blue Air Brush Bauhaus Spritzdekor Plaid
$75.00
Details
Adorable little pitcher with a loose fitting lid. Bright white ground with a rich, bright blue plaid decoration. Clear glaze overall.
It is decorated with an airbrushed or spritzdekor technique, a Bauhaus style decoration, manufactured some in the late 1920's to late 1930's.
It is marked "Erphila Czechoslovakia." The Erphila mark is used on pottery and porcelain pieces imported by Ebeling & Reuss of Philadelphia, a giftware company that operated from 1866-2002. This mark can be found on pieces from Czechoslovakia and other locations made after 1920.
Condition is very nice vintage. A chip on the lid was repaired and the interior has a stain. It still holds water but I would not consider it food safe.
It stands 4.25 inches high with the lid.
